The Government has announced a wide range of actions to support people across the UK - including right here in Ellesmere Port & Neston - with the cost of living.
In total, there are over 40 schemes to help households. They include the Energy Price Guarantee. From 1 October 2022, the Energy Price Guarantee will reduce the unit cost of electricity and gas so that a typical household in Great Britain pays, on average, around £2,500 a year on their energy bill, for the next 2 years. Please beware of scams – there is no need to apply and you will never be asked for bank details.
