This week, thousands of people in Ellesmere Port & Neston will be inconvenienced - directly or indirectly - by the RMT union and its rail strikes.
For example, there will be no Merseyrail train services on Tuesday 21, Thursday 23 and Saturday 25 June. There will also be knock on effects on Wednesday 22 and Friday 24 June.
These strikes are wrong and unnecessary. They will hit working people hardest - the same workers and taxpayers who, through the UK Government, stood behind the railways when the pandemic struck.
Yet Labour won't call for the strike to stop.
