NIGEL JONES for ELLESMERE PORT and NESTON
Nigel JONES has been selected as the Conservative parliamentary candidate for Ellesmere Port and Neston for the upcoming General Election on 8th June 2017.
Nigel has been a local Councillor on Cheshire West and Chester Council for the past 2 years for the Little Neston and Burton Ward. Nigel knows how to get things done and has proved himself as a man of action for his residents.
Commenting on the selection, Nigel said: ”I am delighted to have been selected as the Conservative candidate for Ellesmere Port and Neston, my home constituency. I would be honoured to represent it, working hard in Westminster to be a strong local voice on the issues that matter to local people here in all parts of Ellesmere Port and Neston.
“On the 8th of June voters in Ellesmere Port and Neston will be deciding who will negotiate Brexit on behalf of our great country. Vote Labour and you get Jeremy Corbyn and his coalition of chaos. Vote Conservative, get Theresa May and the strong and stable leadership our country needs.”
“Every vote for me and the Conservatives will strengthen Theresa May as she fights for Britain in the years ahead.”
Nigel was a strong supporter of Brexit and fully supports Theresa May’s plan for Brexit and for a stronger Britain and to take the right long term decisions for a more secure future.”
Nigel has pledged to voters immediately after his selection is to set up an annual job fair, “We can’t just sit back and wait for the benefits of economic growth to come our way. I want to be an active MP bringing business to our towns and driving the local economy forward. So I’ll set up a jobs fair for local residents to come and meet businesses and expand their opportunities for work. A jobs fair will make a real difference to people’s lives in our community.”
“And that’s the sort of MP I want to be. I won’t just talk the talk; I’ll roll up my sleeves to get things done for our area.”
